Early Years and Foundation Stage (EYFS)

At Hinde House the Foundation Stage consists of:
Foundation 1 (Nursery) and Foundation 2 (Reception).

Foundation 1

The Foundation 1 class runs two sessions each for 26 children.

We have a waiting list for parents who would like their children to attend Foundation 1, children have to be at least 3 years old.
Places are allocated to the oldest children first.
A Foundation Stage Teacher and Nursery Nurse work with the children.

Foundation 2

The reception classes take in children full time in the September and January before their 5th birthdays.

The Foundation Stage Curriculum

The Nursery and Reception classes follow the Foundation Stage Curriculum.
