Transition and Admissions 2020

Welcome to the Transition and Admissions page for our new Year 7 Cohort starting at Hinde House Secondary in Sept 2020.

Y6 to Y7 Transition and Admissions 2020

On here you should be able to find the key information that you will need for a smooth transition from Year 6 to Year 7.

Parental Letter here

EdulinkOne Parent Portal

We will be getting in touch first of all to comfirm the contact details for parents and carers. We need this to share information and details to allow you to log into to and use our systems such as our parent portal on EdulinkOne (see this page).

Complete the Contact Details Survey here

This is an important first step as it allows us to communicate with you and provide important information now and continuing for day to day school life. (Students will have their own version of EdulinkOne too using their school computer login). It is essential that on the survey you provide us with an email address as this will be used to give you access to EdulinkOne App.

Admissons Forms

This year this information will be gathered online using the EdulinkOne portal. We will provide more guidance on this soon.

Videos for Y6 students

Starting secondary school can be very exciting. In a normal year we would already have met and be preparing for you to spend some time in school. However, due to the current situation, transition this year will be very different. This has made some students quite anxious about their move up to secondary. For this reason I am asking you to have a look at the videos on the BBC website that focus on transition from primary to secondary school.
